I am a professional Japanese teacher with 16 years of teaching experience in Japan and abroad. My lessons focus on practical Japanese and the joy of communication.
You can choose from two lesson options:
① Survival Japanese Lesson
Perfect for beginners and travelers. Learn useful Japanese for greetings, shopping, restaurants, transportation, and everyday situations. Romaji materials are available for complete beginners.
② Japanese Conversation Café Lesson
Perfect for learners who already study Japanese and would like more speaking practice. Enjoy natural conversation and learn authentic Japanese expressions in a relaxed café atmosphere.
After your booking is confirmed, I will send you a message to ask which lesson you would like to take. Please choose either:

I will be waiting near the main entrance of VIORO, holding a sign that says "Japanese Cafe Lessons in Fukuoka."
What to expect
Your instructor, Shiki, is a professional Japanese teacher with 16 years of teaching experience. All lessons are 100% private, and groups of up to three people are welcome.
Choose from two lesson options. The Survival Japanese Lesson is ideal for travelers with little or no Japanese experience. Learn useful phrases for greetings, ordering food, shopping, asking for directions, and using public transportation. English support is available.
The Japanese Conversation Café Lesson is designed for learners who already study Japanese. Enjoy natural conversation, improve your speaking skills, and learn authentic expressions in a friendly atmosphere.
One drink is included in the lesson fee. When booking, please choose either the Survival Japanese Lesson or the Japanese Conversation Café Lesson. This is a fun and practical way to learn Japanese while visiting Fukuoka.
