Pickup is available from selected hotels, guesthouses, Airbnb accommodations, airports, and designated meeting points in Johannesburg, Sandton, Pretoria, and surrounding areas. Travelers will receive confirmation of their pickup time and driver details before departure via WhatsApp, phone call, or email. Please ensure your phone is reachable on the day of the tour and be ready at the pickup location at least 10 minutes before departure time.
Your journey begins with early morning pickup from Johannesburg as you travel towards Mpumalanga Province, one of South Africa’s scenic regions. The day is dedicated to the Panorama Route, known for dramatic landscapes and natural wonders. You will visit key attractions including: God’s Window – A viewpoint offering views over the Lowveld and, on clear days, toward Kruger National Park. Bourke’s Luck Potholes – Rock formations carved over thousands of years by swirling water, creating cylindrical pools and bridges. Three Rondavels – Iconic peaks overlooking the Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest green canyons in the world. Blyde River Canyon viewpoints – Scenic stops with panoramic views of cliffs, forests, and river valleys. Selected waterfalls such as Lisbon Falls or Berlin Falls, depending on route and timing. After exploring the Panorama Route, you continue to Hazyview, where you check in and overnight at your accommodation, preparing for the Kruger safari the next day.
After an early breakfast, you depart for a full-day guided safari in Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most famous wildlife reserves. Inside the park, you embark on an immersive game drive with your experienced guide, exploring diverse ecosystems including open savannahs, riverine forests, and woodland areas. This increases your chances of encountering the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Along the way, you may also spot: Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and antelope species Hippos and crocodiles near rivers and waterholes A wide variety of birdlife, including eagles, vultures, and storks Your guide uses experience and tracking knowledge to follow animal movements and maximize sightings while sharing insights about wildlife behavior, conservation, and the ecosystem. After a full day of safari exploration, you return to Hazyview for your second overnight stay.
After breakfast, you begin your return journey to Johannesburg. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, giving you time to relax and reflect on your safari experience. You arrive back in Johannesburg in the late afternoon, where you are dropped off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your 3-day safari adventure.
