This is a small, family-run tour on the quiet south coast, timed for golden hour. You snorkel the reef first while the light in the water is still good, then paddle toward Spanish Lagoon's mangroves as the sky turns orange. Guides who grew up on this coast, single and double kayaks, and a relaxed pace far from the busy resort strip.

PLEASE NOTE: Hotel and cruise port pickup is an OPTIONAL EXTRA, not included in the tour price. Round-trip pickup and drop-off costs USD 110 per vehicle (covers your whole party, both directions) and is paid locally. Meeting us directly at the Savaneta ramp is free. We will confirm your choice by message after booking.

Your driver arrives about 45 minutes before the tour in a passenger van and waits a maximum of 15 minutes. Please wait at your hotel's main lobby or front entrance; at the cruise port, wait just outside the terminal. Keep your phone on so we can reach you when the driver arrives.

Meet at the Mangel Halto Beach sign in Pos Chiquito, at the wooden stairs entrance to the beach. Your guide will be there with the kayaks. Arrive 15 minutes before the tour and look for the guide with the colorful ocean kayaks.

    Mangel Halto Beach

    Your tour starts and ends here. After a welcome, gear fitting, and a short safety and reef briefing at the beach sign, you paddle out to the reef just offshore and stop to snorkel for about 45 minutes while the light in the water is still good. Clear water, coral, and tropical fish, with your guide alongside the group the whole time.

    From the reef you paddle along the sheltered coast toward Spanish Lagoon, gliding past mangroves in the warm colors of golden hour. Calm water and a peaceful side of Aruba that feels far from the busy resort strip, about 45 minutes of scenic paddling before you turn back toward the beach around sunset.
