Meet your guide at the South Gate of the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Spend 2–3 hours observing giant pandas eating, resting, climbing, and playing. Depending on the route and opening conditions, you may visit panda houses, nursery areas, and outdoor enclosures.
Next, visit the Panda Post Office for about 30 minutes. Browse panda-themed postcards, stamps, souvenirs, and creative gifts, or send a postcard from Chengdu.
Continue to Chunxi Road, where your guide will provide a brief introduction before the tour ends. Explore the area, shop, or return to your hotel by taxi or metro at your own expense.

Follow the guide to visit key attractions such as the Sun Nursery, the Moon Nursery, the Juvenile Giant Panda Villas, the Adult Giant Panda Villas and the Red Panda Activity Area. Observe giant pandas up close as they munch on bamboo shoots and roll about playfully, whilst learning about the habits of this national treasure and the stories behind their breeding and research. The park’s bamboo groves are serene and the natural environment unspoilt; you may even chance upon a playful red panda, allowing you to immerse yourself in the soothing atmosphere of this national treasure’s habitat.

Visit the Panda Post Office, a venue unique to Chengdu, which features its own exclusive panda postmark and distinctive postcode. Choose from a selection of panda-themed postcards and cultural and creative products, have them stamped with the limited-edition commemorative postmark, and post them on the spot to friends and family or to your future self, preserving a one-of-a-kind memento of Chengdu’s pandas. You are also free to browse and purchase panda-themed merchandise.
