All kimono prices exclude tax.
IMPORTANT: Kimono rental is NOT included in the booking price. Choose your kimono and pay separately at the store on the day of your visit. A complete kimono set and dressing are included in the rental fee.
2. Professional Photography
The ¥16,500 booking price includes:
- 30-minute outdoor photoshoot
- Approx. 30 digital photos
Upgrade options:
- 60 min / 50 photos: ¥29,700
- 120 min / 100 photos: ¥38,500
Photography prices include tax, per group. Pay the difference at the store to extend your session, subject to availability.

Rental Kimono Okamoto Gion Shop is located on the atmospheric Nene-no-Michi, just a 1-minute walk from Kodaiji Temple and about 3 minutes from Yasaka Shrine. From the Gion bus stop, it is about a 5-minute walk. Look for our traditional Kyoto-style townhouse along Nene-no-Michi

- Photography fee: ¥16,500 (tax included, per group)
Kimono rental fees are NOT included in the photography price.
You can choose your favorite kimono and rental plan at the store on the day of your visit.
Kimono Rental Prices:
- Women's Kimono: ¥2,980 / ¥3,980 / ¥4,980 / ¥5,980
- Men's Kimono: ¥3,980
- Children's Kimono: ¥4,980
- Furisode (Formal Kimono): From ¥15,000
- Homongi (Elegant Formal Kimono): From ¥10,000
- Hakama and other traditional Japanese outfits are also available.
You can freely choose or upgrade your kimono plan at the store and pay the rental fee there.
Our experienced staff will help you choose your favorite kimono and provide professional dressing.
After changing into your kimono, enjoy a professional outdoor photoshoot around Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Kyoto's beautiful historic streets.
**Important:**
The booking price of ¥16,500 covers the photography session only. Kimono rental fees and any additional dressing fees must be paid separately at the store on the day of your visit.
