Depart from your hotel for Dazu. A private vehicle and tour guide will pick up you and your family and travel to Dazu via the Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Expressway. Along the way, the guide will provide English commentary on the origins of Chongqing’s nicknames—"Mountain City" and "Foggy City"—and bottled water will be provided in the vehicle.

1Baoding Mountain Carved Stone
Follow the tour route in a counter-clockwise direction to view the following: the Diagram of the Six Realms of Reincarnation, the Avatamsaka Trinity, the Thousand-Armed Guanyin, the Nirvana of Sakyamuni, the Depiction of the Sutra on the Profound Kindness of Parents, the Herding Ox Paintings, and the Yuanjue Cave. Morning light strikes the cliff face of the Thousand-Armed Guanyin, making it the best time for viewing and photography.
