dunes of the Jackal to the majestic dunes of Bertham, through a contrasting and lively landscape: reg and
hamada, centuries-old tamarisks, dune cordons, traces of ancient caravans.
Your Guide knows every retreat of the terrain. Saharawi by birth, he carries with him the knowledge and stories of
His people. The camels carry food, cooking and encampment — you walk freely, at your own
rhythm.
Every lunch break in the shade of a tamarisk with fresh salad and grill. Every evening, smoking tagine, tea and night in wild bivouac — each time in a different site, chosen by your Guide for its beauty
or its nomadic history.
This tour is suitable for families, seniors and solo travelers. The steps can be adapted according to
your shape and your desires. A camel remains available to carry a person if needed.

Check-out from M’Hamid towards the old village and then the palm grove, before reaching the banks of the Drâa wadi. You walk along and through this emblematic valley, marked by the presence of water and vegetation according to the seasons. The progress is made at the rhythm of the caravan, with a lunch break in the shade of a tamarisk. At the end of the day, you reach the dunes of the Jackal to install the bivouac. Sunset tea, traditional meals and a friendly evening around the fire punctuate this first night in the desert.
After breakfast, you continue your roaming through a desert alternating sandy areas and vegetated areas. Walking gradually leads you to the more secluded dunes of Bertham, offering a peaceful setting. At the end of the day, install the bivouac in this preserved natural environment, conducive to relaxation and contemplation.
This last day takes you back to M’Hamid through landscapes dominated by tamarisks, where the wells used by the camels are located. A gentle walk to conclude this trek, between observation of desert life and gradual return to civilization.
