Learn to surf in Taghazout with a local instructor who adapts the session to your level and the day's ocean conditions. Start with clear safety and technique instruction on the beach before practicing directly in the water. Surfboard and wetsuit are included, and beginners receive guidance throughout the session to help them build confidence, improve their balance, and catch their first waves on Morocco's Atlantic coast.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from selected hotels, riads, surf camps, and accommodations in Taghazout and nearby areas within the defined pickup zone. Please be ready at the main entrance of your accommodation 30 minutes before the lesson start time. If the accommodation cannot be reached by vehicle, the instructor will arrange the nearest accessible pickup point. Travelers may also meet the instructor directly in Taghazout.
Meet your surf instructor at the agreed meeting point in central Taghazout, close to Taghazout Beach. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled lesson time. Travelers using the included pickup service will be collected from their selected hotel or accommodation .
What to expect
Start on the beach with a safety briefing and an introduction to board control, paddling, positioning, and the pop-up technique. Once you understand the basics, head into the water with your instructor to practice catching waves, standing on the board, and improving your balance and confidence.
The lesson is adapted to your experience level and the day's ocean conditions. A surfboard and wetsuit are provided, so you only need to bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen.
Enjoy a relaxed and practical introduction to surfing in one of Morocco's best-known surf destinations, with local guidance throughout the session.
