The journey includes a cultural experience in Tengeru, visits to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes near Lake Eyasi, and game drives in Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you will encounter diverse landscapes, abundant wildlife, and authentic cultural experiences. The adventure concludes with several days in Zanzibar, where you can relax on beautiful beaches and explore the island's unique heritage.
Our safaris are conducted in well-maintained 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles designed for comfort and wildlife viewing. Each vehicle features a pop-up roof, comfortable seating, large windows, charging ports, and a refrigerator for cold drinks. Every guest is guaranteed a window seat, and the vehicles are regularly serviced to ensure a safe and enjoyable safari experience.

Welcome to Tanzania! After landing at Kilimanjaro Airport near Arusha, a Tansafari Tours representative will greet you at the airport and then drop you off at your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival in Tanzania, you can decide for yourself on the spot if you would like to receive a short safari briefing with your guide on the same day or the next morning. The rest of the day will be free for you to spend at your leisure. Enjoy relaxing at the hotel before embarking on all the exciting activities awaiting you the next day!
After breakfast, you will depart for the Tengeru Cultural Tourism Program. During your visit, you will learn about the culture and daily life of the Meru community through a range of local activities. You may take part in activities such as visiting a coffee farm, learning about coffee processing, preparing local dishes, visiting the local market, and experiencing traditional music and dance performances. After the cultural visit, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes approximately two and a half hours and passes through local towns and villages along the way. Upon arrival at the park, you will begin your game drive and have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, lions, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River attracts many animals, particularly during the dry season. The park is also known for its baobab trees and diverse landscapes. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Later in the day, you will proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart for the Lake Eyasi area to visit the Hadzabe and Datoga communities. Upon arrival, you will meet members of the Hadzabe community and learn about their traditional way of life, including their hunting and gathering practices. You will then visit the Datoga community, who are known for their blacksmithing and metalworking skills. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to see how they make tools, jewelry, and other items using traditional techniques. After the cultural visits, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and supports a wide variety of wildlife within its crater floor. During your safari, you may see elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, hippos, hyenas, lions, and numerous bird species. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino, which is found within the conservation area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is unique because Maasai communities continue to live within the area alongside wildlife while maintaining their traditional way of life. After the game drive, you will ascend from the crater and proceed to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will visit a Maasai village, where you will learn about the Maasai people's culture, traditions, and daily way of life. During your visit, you may have the opportunity to observe traditional dances and visit local homes. After the village visit, you will continue to Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site located between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park. The site is known for discoveries that have contributed to the study of early human history. You will then continue your journey to Serengeti National Park, with a stop at Naabi Hill Gate before entering the park. Along the way, you may spot wildlife as you travel through the Serengeti ecosystem. Upon arrival, you will proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore different areas of the park in search of wildlife. During the game drive, you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and a variety of bird species. Your guide will share information about the animals, their habitats, and the park's ecosystem. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will continue exploring Serengeti National Park with another full-day game drive. This additional day provides an opportunity to visit different sections of the park and search for wildlife that you may not have encountered on previous game drives. Your guide will adjust the route based on recent wildlife sightings and seasonal animal movements, helping you make the most of your time in the park. You may visit river areas, open plains, rocky outcrops, or woodland habitats, each supporting different species of wildlife. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive during the afternoon. Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day will be at leisure to relax and enjoy the facilities at the hotel. You will have dinner and overnight stay will be at your hotel.
After breakfast from your hotel, you will have a relaxing day. If you are in the mood for a little pampering. Your hotel has a spa where you can relax and rejuvenate. In the evening you will have your delicious meals and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at your lodge, you will begin your Stone town tour. You will explore the winding streets and marvel at the impressive architecture, and visit landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Forodhani Gardens. You will also have a spice tour. Zanzibar island is famous for spices, including cloves, nutmeg, Cinnamon, and black pepper. During the spice tour, visitors can see the spices growing in their natural environment, learn about their medicinal and culinary uses, and even sample some of the fresh produce. In the evening you will head to your lodge for meals and overnight.
After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight.
