You will then visit the Datoga community, who are known for their blacksmithing and metalworking skills. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to see how they make tools, jewelry, and other items using traditional techniques. After the cultural visits, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to a Maasai village, where you can learn about the Maasai people's culture, traditions, and daily way of life. The Maasai are a semi-nomadic community known for their livestock-keeping traditions. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by members of the village and have the opportunity to visit traditional homes and see handmade crafts and jewelry. Some villages may also have a school that visitors can see. After the visit, you will continue your journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive takes several hours and passes through different landscapes along the way. You will stop at Naabi Hill Gate, one of the main entrances to the park, before proceeding to your accommodation. Wildlife sightings are possible during the drive.
After breakfast, you will depart from the Ngorongoro area and drive to Serengeti National Park. As you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the Serengeti ecosystem, you will enjoy a game drive en route to Central Serengeti. Along the way, you may see a variety of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and various bird species. After breakfast, you will depart from Central Serengeti and drive to the Northern Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive en route as you travel through different areas of the park in search of wildlife. Along the way, you may see wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and several species of antelopes. Predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas are also commonly found in the Serengeti, particularly in areas where large herds gather. Depending on the season, your guide will take you to areas where the Great Migration is most likely to be found. If the herds are present in the Northern Serengeti, you may have the opportunity to observe wildebeests and zebras near the Mara River. You will enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing toward the Northern Serengeti. Later in the day, you will arrive at your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will enjoy another full-day game drive in the Northern Serengeti. Your guide will take you to different areas of the park in search of wildlife and, depending on the season, the Great Migration. Predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas are frequently seen in the area, particularly near the migration herds. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas are also regularly seen throughout the Serengeti ecosystem. After enjoying a picnic lunch, you will arrive in Central Serengeti and continue with an afternoon game drive. The crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to spot a diverse range of wildlife within a relatively small area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is also unique because wildlife and Maasai communities coexist within the same protected landscape, allowing the Maasai to continue their traditional way of life. In the late afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
