I am Tainui, your Guide and friend of Tahiti. Child of the fenua (country), I introduce you to my island and my culture. My knowledge was passed on to me by the elders, and supplemented by the literature of our history. An adventure rich in experiences awaits you, full of legends, discoveries, encounters and sharing.
I created Ta'ati Fenua with the desire to think outside the box by offering unifying and rewarding experiences for our country, its people and its culture. No folklore here, you are welcomed as friends.
Ta'ati = join, bind, unite. Fenua = country, island, land.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick-up is carried out from all hotels on Tahiti Island, from the airport, as well as from the ferry terminal and cruise terminal in Papeete town. Otherwise, you will be asked to join the main road in order to be taken care of.
Please communicate your location via WhatsApp or Tā’ati Fenua Messenger no later than 24 hours before the tour.

Our journey begins with a visit to this architectural monument dedicated to ancient religious practices. I would tell you the story of the creation of the Polynesian world, the social organization of the people and the rites used at the time.

A moment of freshness and tranquility to admire these natural cavities full of water. This mystical site today serene is full of stories, some of them tragic.

3Taharuu Beach
On an iconic surf spot in Tahiti, I introduce you to the flavors of our childhood. Anecdotes, meetings and tastings with our local craftsmen are waiting for you.

4The Water Gardens of Vaipahi
A key source of ancestral spiritual beliefs, I would guide you through this Eden of local flora and fauna. We will admire trees, flowers, waterfall, fish ponds and hopefully the iconic eel.

This beautiful beach on the Tahitian peninsula welcomes us and sparkles in its turquoise lagoon the mythical exploits of its eponymous hero. We stop there with the opportunity to enjoy an equally legendary lunch, feet in the sand.

The Tahiti road literally stops here at kilometre 0, the mythical surf spot of Teahupo'o. It is the scene of the 2024 Olympic Games, but also the birthplace of many legends. If the sky allows us, I reserve for you the most beautiful surprises.
