What to expect
Your host will welcome you at YOKADO KAGOSHIMA and accompany you to the venue on foot. Along the way, enjoy views of Sakurajima and the Kagoshima cityscape through the windows.
Welcome and Tuna Selection Explained by the Master (15 minutes)
Upon arrival, you will be introduced to the premium tuna purchased at auction that day. The master will briefly share the business’s 180-year history and explain how experts identify exceptional tuna, building anticipation for the show ahead.
Tuna Cutting Show, Sushi-Making Experience, and Meal (75 minutes)
A seventh-generation master from a business with 180 years of history will skillfully break down a freshly auctioned tuna before your eyes. While the excitement is still fresh, you will take part in a sushi-making experience using freshly cut tuna. Learn directly from the master how to shape sushi by hand, then enjoy your sushi on the spot.
Farewell and Return to the Port (15 minutes)
After this memorable experience, we will accompany you back to YOKADO KAGOSHIMA. We will ensure you return with plenty of time before your ship’s scheduled departure.
