Meet at your hotel lobby in the morning, then head to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to visit Yuntiandu Glass Bridge — the world’s longest and highest transparent glass bridge.
This 430m-long bridge sits 400m above the valley, 6 meters wide and laid with 99 clear glass panels. Walk above mountain streams amid clouds for a surreal, otherworldly view. It holds multiple world records as the first long-span canyon glass cable-stayed bridge built with new composite materials; you may experience it based on your comfort level with heights.
In the afternoon, tour iconic Tianmen Mountain. Ride the world’s longest mountain cable car, and visit highlights including Heavenly Gate Cave, Green Pasture Ya Platform and Immortal Seeking Wonderland.
Take in panoramic mountain views at the unique bonsai-like stone forest, then challenge the thrilling cliff-hanging Brave Plank Road and glass viewing platform. The giant through-mountain Heavenly Gate Cave is often wrapped in ethereal mist.
