Guided by Beth, discover the landscapes that inspire her work and enjoy a local walk through the historic area. This small-group experience promises a connection to creativity and place that few visitors ever encounter.

Your day begins with a studio conversation where you get to understand how artwork is taken from concept to completion & you can ask any questions you like. This is followed by a 2 hour guided art workshop for any level. You get to take home your completed artwork ready to be framed. Beth then guides you through the creative spaces & galleries around Oamaru. The full day option includes a fully guided tour from Ocean to Alps, discovering back roads and places in the Waitaki Valley, few visitors discover.

2Oamaru's Heritage Precinct
Experience the local creative scene through the Oamaru Heritage Precinct with its original architecture. We visit galleries and get to meet other local makers.

You will be driven to the local Kakanui Beach that is known for the interesting coloured rocks and stones that are washed down with help of the river from the Waitaki UNESCO Geopark

We drive through back local roads leading into the Waitaki Valley. Here there are interesting stops including Waitaki UNESCO Geopark and Elephant Rocks. This part of the tour is very flexible and can be tailored to group preferences. We allow plenty of time for photo stops, to take in the majestic scenes and in season can include winery stops.
