We'll start this great tour with a brief introduction from the guide who will be accompanying the group throughout the tour. Listen to a quick safety briefing before receiving your bike (a comfortable beach cruiser) and helmet.
Begin with a cycle around San Telmo, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, known for its well-preserved colonial architecture. Observe life in the square’s cafes, bars and shops, and watch for spontaneous tango performances – San Telmo is the center of tango in Buenos Aires.
Then we will continue to one of the most modern neighborhoods of the city, Puerto Madero. This aerea is a revamped dockside area, popular with tourists and business lunchers. In Puerto Madero you will have the possibility to see the skyline of the city through its buildings, the docks that form the neighbourhood and the famous illuminated Puente de la Mujer (Women's Bridge).
We will continue cycling through the city until we reach the Retiro neighbourhood where the Monumental Tower is located. With the monument illuminated and in front of emblematic buildings you will have time to take some beautiful pictures while the guide tells the history of this tower that brought controversy during the Malvinas War.
Later on, we will take Avenida Libertador until we reach the famous Law School in Recoleta. Here we will make a stop to take pictures and be amazed by the beautiful neoclassical façade and appreciate the surroundings.
A little further on we come across the famous Floralis Genérica. A metal sculpture located in Recoleta. This flower is characterized by a system that allows the petals to open and close depending on the time of day. On this night bike tour, the flower remains closed and emanates a red glow from inside.
We take the bicycles again to continue our tour along Alvear Avenue, the most luxurious avenue in Buenos Aires. Along the avenue you will see luxury hotels and brands, embassies such as the French, Brazilian and Vatican embassies. French style buildings that were started at the beginning of the 20th century.
Almost at the end of our tour, we will take the 9 de Julio Avenue where the famous monument that represents the city of Buenos Aires is located: the Obelisk. It is an iconic monument of the city, located on one of the widest avenues in the world.
Closing our circuit, we will take Corrientes Avenue, known as "the street that never sleeps" due to the great movement of people in the late hours of the night. Along the avenue you will appreciate the theatres, bookstores and pizzerias so popular with the porteños.
Our tour will end at the rooftop of the Güemes Gallery. After an afternoon of cycling, you can relax and enjoy a drink with an incredible view of the domes of great cultural and historical value.
