After stopping at the waterfront to see an impressive view of the Hanging Bridge over the Aysén River, you will be able to enjoy lunch with Chilean food at a local restaurant.

What to expect

We leave from Coyhaique heading west, passing the Carretera Austral along one of the most emblematic roads. After traveling 30 km, we will stop to visit the Río Simpson National Reserve.

Here, we can access the visitor center, where we can learn more about the flora and fauna of the sector. We will also take a walk that will take us on the banks of the Simpson River where we can enjoy its incomparable surroundings. In the background, we can also appreciate a hill called "Queque Inglés", which adds beauty to this special panorama.

Later, we will continue our trip to Puerto Aysén, en route a photo-stop will be made at the vaporous La Virgen Cascade.

Puerto Aysen is the second biggest town in the region. A panoramic tour will be made and learn about Father Antonio Ronchi, who is well recognized because he fought tirelessly to improve the quality of life for those most in need. A second stop will be made next to the coastal road, for a panoramic view of the suspension bridge over the Aysén River, which characterizes the town.
On the way back to Coyhaique, a stop will be made at Marchant view-point to observe for splendid views and photo opportunity of Coyhaique.
