What to expect

This tour starts very early in the morning, at approximately 5:30 AM, when we will leave Coyhaique to head for a Patagonian ranch while the first rays of sun begin to appear. We will pass through the internal roads to arrive as soon as dawn rises to "Las Condoreras". There we will get off the vehicles and quietly walk a small path, to see from the cliff heights our protagonist, the condor, in its natural habitat.

With the Valley of the Moon as a stage and during the dawn, we can contemplate and photograph the condors on their awakening from incredibly close distances. While we see how they glide in the surrounding air, we will learn to differentiate them by sex and age, we will know more about how they subsist in the area and also relevant data about their life and reproduction.

After this wonderful experience, we will return to Coyhaique through two Tehuelche archeological sites. In "El Picadero" we will be able to know how they made their farming and hunting tools, and then we will visit a Chenque cemetery, where we will know more about the ancient funerary rituals, among other topics of interest about the Tehuelche culture.
