We will begin the tour by visiting the legendary Tule Tree, considered one of the trees with the widest trunk in the world. Our guide will share the history, legends and curiosities of this stunning hut while travelers enjoy time to take pictures and admire this symbol of Oaxaca.
We will visit a family textile workshop where you will know the traditional process of pedal loom weaving. You will discover how natural dyes from plants, flowers and insects such as grana cochineal are obtained and you will see a demonstration by local artisans.

We will reach Hierve el Agua, a natural wonder famous for its petrified waterfalls and mineral water pools. You’ll have free time to walk the scenic trails, admire the scenery, take pictures and, conditions permitting, enjoy a swim in the natural pools while your guide shares information about the geological formation of the place.
You will know the artisan process of making mezcal, from the harvest of agave to distillation. During the visit you will enjoy a guided tasting of different varieties of mezcal and learn about the cultural importance of this traditional Oaxaca drink.
