    Depart early from Mafinga in a private 4x4 safari vehicle and travel to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival, complete the park entry formalities before continuing into the park. Enjoy lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive with your professional safari guide. Explore Ruaha’s diverse landscapes and wildlife-rich areas, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wildlife. After the game drive, return to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay in or around Ruaha National Park.

    Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Departure to Mafinga

    Start the day with an early morning game drive in Ruaha National Park, when wildlife is often more active in the cooler morning hours. Explore different areas of the park with your professional safari guide, with opportunities for wildlife viewing and birdwatching. Return to the accommodation for breakfast and check-out before beginning the journey back to Mafinga. The return journey includes a final drive through the park towards the exit gate, followed by the road journey to Mafinga, arriving later in the day.
