Your starting point is Ljubljana Castle on the hill above the old town — reachable on foot or with the funicular from Krekov trg. This is self-guided: no guide meets you. Just start at the castle and follow the route on your own phone.

The route finishes at the Ljubljana City Museum on Gosposka ulica. From here it is about a 5-minute walk back to Preseren Square and the old town.
