Your host — a 20-year San Diego resident — builds a full day's itinerary around your interests, from the course to dining to sightseeing. You just show up and enjoy.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We can pick you up wherever you are in San Diego county. We will coordinate pick up and drop off locations the day before your trip begins.
Look for your host, David, who will be wearing a yellow baseball cap with the Local Knowledge San Diego logo.
What to expect
On the day of, we pick you up and head to for a coffee stop/bakery, then to one golf course chosen specifically for your group and the day's conditions — not always the famous one, but always the right one. Expect an unplanned stop or two along the way — a wildflower bloom, a cliffside lookout at La Jolla Cove, whatever the season brings.
After golf, you'll stop at a local craft brewery or winery, then wrap the day with a dining reservation matched to your tastes. Evenings might mean a sunset at the beach, cliffside lookout point, or something else entirely — built around what you told us you're into. The mystery of the day unfolding, perfectly matched to what you love, is what makes it special. All significant stops are shared in advance for your approval during itinerary review.
Each day includes a coffee shop/bakery, a golf course, a post-golf stop for drinks/snacks, a dinner spot, — not every location listed, but a selection is curated specifically for you. Every day with Local Knowledge is different and fully customized to your pace and style.
