Delve into the chilling history of the Jack the Ripper cases on this guided walking tour in London's historic East End districts of Whitechapel and Spitalfields.
Led by a local guide and enthusiastic Ripperologist, uncover the stories behind the infamous unsolved crimes while exploring this bustling part of London.
We aim to set ourselves apart by telling the story as a whole, from social conditions in 1888, to the victims' lives and historical particulars others might miss.
Guests will consider suspect profiles, witness accounts and photographic evidence...prepare to put on your "detective" hats! This engaging tour takes you to locations pivotal to the cases, including Brick Lane and the Ten Bells Pub.

1Brick Lane
Visit the street on which the Ripper cases were centred. Brick Lane is a bustling street, home to successive waves of immigration, including Jewish refugees who fled pogroms in the territories of the former Russian Empire at the time of the Jack the Ripper cases. Today, it is a focal point of the Bangladeshi community, who settled here from the 1970s onwards, as well as a thriving centre for vintage clothing, street markets and Indian & Bangladeshi restaurants.

5Old Spitalfields Market
Conveniently located between two of the stops half-way through our tour, this market offers food & drink options and has public toilets for a comfort break. The market has various stalls offering global cuisine, as well as clothing and arts and crafts. At the time of the Ripper cases, this was primarily a fruit & vegetable market, however it also had a focus on tools which served local people engaged in manual occupations...a stall in the market may have sold the murder weapons used by the Ripper...a chilling thought!
