An interesting walk through the narrow lanes of Old Amritsar en-route to the Golden Temple. See the only Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) built by the British in the honour of 21 Sikh soldiers who fought against 10,000 Afghans in the Battle of Saragarhi in 1897. The Sikhs chose to fight to the death, in what is considered by military historians as one of history's greatest last-stands. Walk through colourful bazzars, learn about the Sikh religion and life on the streets. Starting Point – Saragarhi Gurudwara Ending Point – Town Hall Recommended in Morning between 0900-1200hrs (the tour takes 1hr 30mins)
