Experience one of Bali’s most iconic cultural performances as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean at Karang Boma Cliff in the Uluwatu area.
Arrive before sunset and enjoy the dramatic cliffside atmosphere before taking your seat for the Kecak Fire Dance. The performance brings the legendary Ramayana story to life through rhythmic “cak” chanting, expressive traditional dance, colorful costumes, theatrical storytelling, and fire.
Karang Boma Cliff offers a scenic setting overlooking the ocean, creating a beautiful backdrop as daylight fades into the evening.
The show lasts approximately one hour, with open seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Arriving around 30 minutes before the performance is recommended so you have enough time to exchange or prepare your ticket and find a comfortable seat.
Please note that this performance takes place at Karang Boma Cliff in the Uluwatu area. It is a different venue from the Kecak Dance performance at Uluwatu Temple.

What to expect

The Kecak performance takes place at the Karang Boma Cliff, not at Uluwatu Temple. The performance is scheduled to start around 18:00 and lasts approximately one hour. Please arrive about 30 minutes before the show to allow sufficient time for ticketing and seating. Seating is open-air and available on a first-come, first-served basis. This performance is held outdoors; sunset visibility and weather conditions may vary. Please ensure you travel to the Karang Boma Cliff in Pecatu (Uluwatu area), rather than the Kecak performance venue at Uluwatu Temple.
