  Stop At: Forodhani Gardens, Mizingani Rd, Stone Town, Zanzibar City, Tanzania We'll continue along the seafront to Forodhani Gardens, one of the most popular places for locals to relax in the evening. I'll also tell you about the local street food you'll find here and recommend what to try if you come back later

  The Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe)

  Stop At: The Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), Mizingani Rd, Stone Town, Zanzibar City, Tanzania Next, we'll visit the Old Fort, the oldest building in Stone Town. As we walk through the courtyard, you'll hear how it was built by the Omanis and how it has changed over the years into a place for local art, culture, and community events.

  Stop At: Freddie Mercury Museum, Kenyatta Rd, Stone Town, Zanzibar City, Tanzania We'll stop outside the house where Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen, was born.   Stop At: Hidden Streets of Stone Town Some of the best parts of Stone Town aren't on the main streets. We'll walk through a few quiet alleys where you'll see everyday local life, traditional houses, and hidden corners that many visitors miss. Stop At: Jaws Corner, Stone Town, Zanzibar, Tanzania We'll stop at Jaws Corner, a place where local people meet every day to drink coffee, chat, and catch up with friends. It's a simple stop, but it's one of the best places to experience the real atmosphere of Stone Town.

  Stop At: Anglican Cathedral & Former Slave Market, Mkunazini St, Zanzibar City, Tanzania This is one of the most meaningful places in Stone Town. Together we'll visit the former slave market, the underground slave chambers, and the Anglican Cathedral while learning about this important chapter of Zanzibar's history.   Optional Stop: Souvenir Shops & Forodhani Seafront If you'd like to do a little shopping, I'm happy to take you to a few trusted local souvenir shops where you'll find handmade gifts, paintings, spices, and other Zanzibar products. If we have enough time, we'll also stop at the Forodhani seafront to watch local boys diving into the ocean, a fun tradition that many visitors enjoy. Throughout our walk, feel free to ask me anything about Zanzibar. Whether it's history, culture, food, daily life, or travel tips, I'll be happy to share what I know. My goal is not only to show you the famous places but also to help you experience Stone Town the way locals know
