Lisbon Locals Walking Tour with Ferry and Local Lunch

4 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

Begin with a overview of Lisbon’s origins and Portugal’s early history. Head towards the São Jorge Castle neighborhood, where you’ll pause at scenic viewpoints to take in panoramic views.

Continue on foot through Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest district, and discover its narrow streets and historic corners. Make your way down to Baixa Pombalina, learning how the city was rebuilt after the earthquake and how this area became one of Lisbon’s most emblematic neighborhoods. Visit Chiado, one of the most elegant quarters, and enjoy a Pastel de Nata tasting.

Head to Cais do Sodré to board the ferry. During the short ferry crossing to Cacilhas (around 8 minutes), enjoy outstanding views of Lisbon’s waterfront and the 25 de Abril Bridge.

Once in Cacilhas, sit down for lunch at a typical Portuguese restaurant and try a classic dish: seafood rice, served with a glass of Vinho Verde.

After lunch, you can either return to Lisbon or stay in Cacilhas to enjoy the riverside views at your own pace.
