Immerse yourself in a heartwarming encounter with the charming Highland cows, Freya and Fiona, at historical and modern working dairy farm - Caldermeade Farm of Victoria, Australia. This intimate experience allows for gentle brushing, patting, and cuddling with these adorable young cows, while also providing insights into their care and daily life on the farm. Capture delightful moments and selfies as you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, specifically designed for meaningful interactions. With a maximum of 6 participants per session, the experience ensures a calm environment for both guests and animals, making it perfect for those wanting to connect with these fluffy personalities.

Meeting and pickup
Go to the area behind the Tour Shop (a green farm barn), look for the Farmer staff as your guide next to the 2 Highland Cows.
What to expect
Meet our beautiful Highland cows in a relaxed, small-group setting, with a maximum of just 6 guests per session. Learn a little about these gentle animals, their personalities and how they're cared for on our family-owned working dairy farm.
You'll have the opportunity to gently brush, pat and cuddle the cows, while our farm team guides the experience and ensures the comfort and wellbeing of both guests and animals. Feed and brushes are provided for you to use during the session.
Don't forget your camera! There'll be plenty of time to capture memorable photos and selfies using your own device.
After your experience, you're welcome to continue exploring Caldermeade Farm. Visit our free Animal Nursery, home to our resident Highland cattle Bonnie & Dougal, along with Jersey calves, goats, alpacas, deer etc. You can also enjoy our daily dairy milking viewing from 2:30 PM, relax in the gardens and playground, browse the Farm Shop, or enjoy a meal or coffee at the Farm Café.
