    Fairview Lawn Cemetery

    Titanic After we return from Peggy's Cove, we will travel back to the CIty of Halifax., where we will view many locations. One such site is the Titanic Historical Graveyard location. The Driver Guide will discuss the reasoning why this site was chosen and also discuss a number of individuals buried there.

    Halifax Explosion Memorial Bell Tower

    Halifax Explosion Travelling a short distance, we will drive by the area where the two ships ships collided that created the largest explosion (Halifax Explosion Dec. 6th 1917) before the Atomic Bomb devastation that was dropped on Japan. We will discuss the area in great detail and view a housing development that was the replacement for the many homes lost to the explosion. The name of the development is called the Hydrostone area. Driver/Guide will talk about the input the CIty of Boston had on the reconstruction of the north end area of Halifax where the most damage was caused. We will then leave the area to view the historical buildings and sites of downtown Halifax.

    Historical Buildings, Fortresses (National Park), Parks & Gardens We will be driving by many Historical Building that will include the Lieutenant Governor's Residence, St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery and last but not least, The Halifax Public Gardens. This is a must to see.
