My tours are exclusive to my business. You won't find an itinerary like this any where's else. My tour encompasses the most you can tour about Anne of Green Gables and obviously the famous author who made her: Lucy Maud Montgomery. Don't take just one picture!

The privately operated Site of Lucy Maud Montgomery's Cavendish Home is the farm property that belonged to L.M. Montgomery’s maternal grandparents, Lucy and Alexander Macneill. It was here that Montgomery was raised by her grandparents. She spent most of the first 37 years of her life on this property. The farmscape incorporates the ruins of the house, the farm buildings that existed in Montgomery’s time, and the wooded groves and pathways described in her stories.
A straw hat, red-haired braids and a pinafore define Canada’s most loved fictional character, Anne of Green Gables. Meet the head-strong orphan and re-live her youthful escapades and mishaps within the memory-filled rooms of her home – Green Gables – where images from the blockbuster 1908 novel blend with the real life experiences of local author Lucy Maud Montgomery, who drew inspiration from the idyllic farmstead and its red woodland pathways.
The Birthplace of the esteemed authoress, Lucy Maud Montgomery, is situated on the picturesque village of "Clifton", New London, PE on Route 6, overlooking the beautiful New London Harbour and the sand dunes of which she was to write so much about in later years. Other books written by this famous authoress include "Pat of Silver Bush", "The Story Girl", "Rainbow Valley", and "The Emily Series".
The Anne of Green Gables Museum located in Park Corner was built in 1872 by the Author's Aunt Annie and Uncle John Campbell. Some of the artifacts you'll see in the Museum are Anne's Enchanted Bookcase, the organ on which her wedding march was played, Crazy Patchwork Quilt, the Blue Chest from The Story Girl and many artifacts that the Author wrote about and personal memorabilia of the Authors. Take a picture of yourself by the Lake of Shining Waters.
