You'll begin with a short storytelling session about batik’s rich history
2. Learn the Basic
The guide will demonstrate and explain each step of the batik-making process, so you can follow along with confidence
3. Your first Canting Lines
This is where the magic happens! You’ll learn how to use the canting — a traditional tool for applying hot wax — to bring your design to life
4. Dip, Dye and Discover
Now it’s time to see your hard work transform into real batik. You’ll carefully dip your fabric into the dye bath and layering in beautiful colors
5. Drying and Local Lunch
While we rinse and hang your batik to dry, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy a special lunch with authentic Indonesian dishes, prepared by Kaloka Experience
