Discover a different side of Rome on a private 5-hour journey through hidden archaeological treasures, medieval corners and ancient landscapes, travelling comfortably by private car with your personal host.
Far from the busiest tourist routes, we begin at the extraordinary Basilica of San Clemente, where several centuries of Roman history are layered beneath the same building. We then explore the Roman Houses of the Celian Hill and walk along the ancient Clivus Scauri before reaching the impressive Basilica of the Four Crowned Martyrs, a fascinating glimpse into medieval Rome.
Our private car then takes us to the spectacular Park of the Aqueducts, where monumental Roman engineering meets the peaceful Roman countryside. We continue towards the legendary Appian Way, the ancient Regina Viarum, where emperors, soldiers, merchants and travellers once passed.

Discover a different side of Rome, far from the crowds and beyond the city’s most famous monuments. This experience takes you through hidden archaeological sites, medieval treasures, ancient roads and spectacular landscapes, revealing the layers of history that have shaped Rome for more than two thousand years. Our journey begins at the extraordinary Basilica of San Clemente, one of Rome’s most fascinating historical sites. Here, different centuries exist one beneath another: a medieval basilica, an early Christian church and ancient Roman structures. Walking through its underground levels is like travelling back through time.

We continue to the Roman Houses beneath the Basilica of Saints John and Paul\. These remarkably preserved ancient residences offer an intimate glimpse into everyday Roman life, with rooms, frescoes and traces of different periods of the city’s history.

We leave the historic centre behind and enter the Roman countryside at the Park of the Aqueducts. Here, monumental Roman aqueducts rise across the landscape, offering one of the most spectacular and unexpected views of ancient engineering in Rome.
