Explore the best of Marrakech's medina on a guided walking tour steeped in history and culture.
Starting from the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, we will pass through the most historic alleys and neighborhoods until we reach Le Jardin Secret (explanation from the outside). We will then enter the beautiful Medersa Ben Youssef to admire one of the most fascinating Koranic schools in North Africa.
The experience continues through the souk shops, where you'll see local artisans at work, and then ends in the overwhelming Jemaa el Fna Square. Here you can also make an optional stop at a historic herbalist to learn about the natural cosmetics and spices of the area.

1Koutoubia Mosque
We will start the tour in front of the Koutoubia Mosque, the symbol of Marrakech. You will learn about the history of the mosque, its magnificent 12th century minaret and the role it played in the development of the city. I will tell you about the Almohad dynasty, Islamic architecture and religious traditions of Morocco. We will walk in the surrounding gardens, ideal for photographs and to admire one of the most iconic monuments of Marrakech.

2Rue du Mouassine
Stroll along Rue du Mouassine, one of the most fascinating and historic arteries of Marrakech's medina. Together with our Guide, you will discover an authentic immersion in local life: from the historic leather and spice workshops to the majestic Mouassine complex with its famous 16th century fountain. A journey through colors, scents and tales that will make you experience the true essence of the ancient city.

Le Jardin Secret (Pass by)
We will stop outside one of the most fascinating and best restored palaces in the medina: Le Jardin Secret. Our Guide will tell you the story of this majestic 19th century riad dwelling, explaining the origins of traditional Islamic architecture, the ingenious historical plumbing system of the gardens and its transformation over time. (Note: the visit will take place from outside, tickets to access inside are not included).

3Madrasa Ben Youssef
Stop outside Medersa Ben Youssef, one of the largest and most historically important Koranic schools in all of North Africa. Our Guide will tell you the story of this masterpiece of Marinid and Saadian architecture, illustrating the artistic details of the facade, the decorative style and the spiritual and cultural importance it has had for Marrakech over the centuries.

Medina of Marrakesh (Pass by)
Immerse yourself in the living heart of Marrakech's UNESCO World Heritage Medina. 4Jemaa el-Fnaa

During the stage, there will also be the possibility to make an optional visit to one of the most renowned traditional herbalists in the area, where you can discover the properties of Argan oil, nigella, spices and natural remedies of the Moroccan tradition.
