What to expect

Enter a real Tuscan home and live an authentic culinary experience, learning how to prepare fresh pasta colored according to Italian tradition.

I will welcome you with a small aperitif based on Tuscan bruschetta, while I will tell you about the characteristics of the flours, eggs and natural ingredients used to color the pasta, such as spinach, beetroot and turmeric.

Together we will prepare the dough from scratch, learning how to get the right consistency and how to work it both by hand and with the pasta machine. You will make two traditional formats: tagliatelle and stuffed ravioli, discovering techniques, curiosities and little secrets handed down from the family kitchen.

During the lesson I will also explain how to store fresh pasta, both in the fridge and in the freezer, so you can repeat the experience at home.

After the preparation, we will all sit together to enjoy lunch or dinner prepared during the cooking class. The menu includes:
Tagliatelle with sauce
Butter and sage dumplings
Second course with side dish
Tiramisu
Water, Chianti wine

At the end of the experience you will receive an apron as a souvenir of your day in Tuscany.
