Want to experience Asakusa before the crowds arrive?
Join your photographer and English-speaking host for a relaxed 1.5-hour early morning walk through Asakusa. Explore Senso-ji Temple and its surrounding streets, experience a traditional temple visit, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Asakusa in the early morning.
Along the way, we’ll take memorable photos of you at some of your favorite spots, including the iconic Kaminarimon Gate. Your photos are included as a complimentary part of the experience and will be delivered digitally after the tour.
Please note: This experience is focused on enjoying Asakusa, visiting Senso-ji Temple, and capturing memories together. We are not professional historical guides, so we do not provide detailed historical commentary. Instead, we’ll share simple local customs, help you experience a temple visit, and enjoy casual conversation as we explore Asakusa together.

1Nakamise Shopping Street (Kaminarimon)
Start your Asakusa experience at the iconic Kaminarimon Gate. Take in the impressive giant lantern and traditional architecture while I capture memorable photos of you at one of Asakusa’s most famous landmarks.

Walk through Nakamise Shopping Street on the way to Senso-ji Temple. In the early morning, most shops are still closed, allowing you to enjoy the traditional street in a quieter atmosphere before the crowds arrive.

2Hozomon
Walk through the impressive Hozomon Gate on the way to Senso-ji Temple. We’ll stop here for photos with the beautiful temple architecture and traditional Asakusa scenery in the background.

3Five-Storied Pagoda
Admire the beautiful Five-Story Pagoda, one of the most striking sights in the Senso-ji Temple grounds. We’ll also use the traditional scenery as a backdrop for your photos.

4Senso-ji Temple
Experience a traditional Japanese temple visit at Senso-ji. I’ll show you the basic customs of visiting and praying at a Japanese temple. If you wish, you can make a small voluntary offering before praying.
