Experience the world's most iconic outdoor amphitheater before the crowds arrive. Experience the amphitheater's unique geology and explore the interactive Hall of Fame museum, discovering the venue's legendary music history followed by a walk down the amphitheater's 70 rows and 194 steps to the legendary stage that has hosted decades of music history's greatest icons. The tour continues down the south ramp to the historic Trading Post for stunning panoramic photos of the towering rock formations. We follow this with a moderate 1.5 mile hike along the spectacular Trading Post hiking trail. We will conclude the morning tour at the Trading Post, perfectly timed for it's 9:00 AM opening.

We will meet at the upper north parking lot of the amphitheater next to the flags at the top of the walkway to the Visitors Center.
The tour will end at the amphitheater's iconic trading post at the south end of the park

1Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre
Experience the world’s most iconic amphitheater before the crowds arrive. We will descend the entrance ramp towards the amphitheater to the Red Rocks Visitor Center where we will explore the interactive Hall of Fame museum which chronicles the legendary music history of the venue along with fascinating displays of the park’s unique geology and local history. From the visitors center we will leisurely walk down through the amphitheater’s 70 rows and 194 steps while discussing the history of this natural wonder and the tectonic forces that shaped it. We will then continue down the amphitheater's south ramp to the historic Red Rocks trading post for the perfect panoramic photos of the towering rock formations. We will then continue our morning tour with a moderate 1.5 mile hike around the Trading Post trail with our finish perfectly timed for the Trading Post’s 9am opening.
