What to expect

Bula! Come into our home, share our food, and experience Fiji the way we know it.

In Fiji, food is about family, sitting together, sharing stories and making sure everyone has enough to eat. We would love to welcome you into our kitchen and share some of the food we grew up enjoying at home.
Over four relaxed hours, you’ll cook with us using fresh local ingredients and simple Fijian cooking methods. Our menu changes with the seasons and what is available, so each experience is a little different. You may prepare kokoda, Fiji’s signature dish; freshwater prawns; nama (sea grapes); vudi vakasoso; baked kaikoso (clams); and baigani tavu - eggplant roasted over an open fire.
You’ll see how we make fresh lolo (coconut milk) and use local produce and fire to bring out the natural flavours of our food.
Then, we’ll sit together, share the meal and enjoy good conversation - just as we would with family at home.

Come as our guest, leave as a friend, and take home a little taste of Fiji.
