Begin at Awa Odori Kaikan, where you can discover the history and culture of Tokushima’s famous Awa Odori dance. Continue by ropeway to Mt. Bizan and enjoy panoramic views over Tokushima City and the surrounding landscape.
Next, visit Tokushima Central Park, located on the former site of Tokushima Castle. Stroll through the historic castle grounds and see remaining stone walls and other traces of the former stronghold.
The driver speaks Japanese, with communication assisted by a translation app. Before your tour, you will receive an English digital guidebook about the itinerary and sightseeing locations. Pre-tour customer support is available in English.
Return to Komatsushima Port in time for your ship’s departure.

Discover Tokushima’s famous Awa Odori culture at the Awa Odori Kaikan. Learn about the history and traditions of one of Japan’s most celebrated dance festivals and experience the lively spirit of Awa Odori.

Take the Bizan Ropeway from Awa Odori Kaikan to the top of Mount Bizan. During the approximately six-minute ride, ascend above the city and enjoy panoramic views from the mountaintop overlooking Tokushima and the surrounding landscape.

3Ruins of Tokushima Castle
Explore Tokushima Central Park, located on the former site of Tokushima Castle. Walk through the historic grounds and discover remnants of the castle and the history of the Hachisuka clan, who ruled the Tokushima Domain during the Edo period.
