  Dovecot Metcalfe's Boathouse

  Metcalfe’s Boathouse is a fascinating 19th-century structure located within Delhi’s Mehrauli Archaeological Park. It formed part of Dilkusha, the country retreat developed by British official Sir Thomas Metcalfe around Quli Khan’s Tomb. Built beside a former water reservoir, the boathouse reflects Metcalfe’s transformation of the historic landscape into a picturesque leisure estate. Today, its ruins offer visitors an interesting glimpse into Delhi’s colonial-era history.

  Rajon Ki Baoli

  Rajon Ki Baoli is a beautifully preserved 16th-century stepwell located within Delhi’s Mehrauli Archaeological Park.   Jamali Kamali Tomb and Mosque

  Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb is a remarkable 16th-century Mughal-era complex located within Delhi’s Mehrauli Archaeological Park. The mosque, built in red sandstone with intricate decorative details, is considered an important example of early Mughal architecture. Beside it stands the beautifully decorated tomb of the Sufi poet and saint Jamali and his companion Kamali, known for its colorful interior, ornamental plasterwork, and Persian inscriptions.

  Muhammad Quli Khan Tomb

  Quli Khan’s Tomb is an elegant 16th-century Mughal-era monument located within Delhi’s Mehrauli Archaeological Park. Built as the resting place of Quli Khan, a nobleman associated with Emperor Akbar’s court, the tomb is notable for its octagonal design, arched openings, and decorative details. In the 19th century, it was converted into a country residence by British official Sir Thomas Metcalfe and became part of his retreat known as Dilkusha.

  Qutub Minar

  Qutub Minar is one of Delhi’s most iconic monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rising to a height of about 73 metres, this magnificent red sandstone tower was begun by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in the late 12th century and later completed and expanded by his successors. Surrounded by historic structures including the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Iron Pillar and Alai Darwaza, the Qutub complex offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the architecture and history of medieval Delhi.
