Unlike a traditional art class, there’s no design to copy and no “right” result. You’ll work directly on the surface of water, watching colors move and interact before capturing your design on silk. Every scarf is completely unique and can never be recreated exactly the same way again.
The experience takes place in my working Los Angeles artist’s studio and is limited to just four guests, allowing plenty of individual guidance and time to experiment. You’ll leave with something you created yourself—a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

What to expect
Once your design is ready, you’ll transfer it onto silk, capturing a pattern that can never be recreated exactly the same way again. There’s no design to copy and no “right” result—every scarf is completely your own, and no two will ever be alike.
My studio experiences are limited to a small number of guests, so you’ll have plenty of individual guidance and time to experiment with color and pattern. At the end of the experience, your freshly marbled silk scarf will be carefully packaged for you to take home, along with simple instructions for finishing it.
