Author's tour and photo workshop in Punta Arenas with visual artist Gio Foschino.
Explore the city through my gaze on a walking tour designed for those looking to delve into their photography practice and share a critical view of the landscape and historical context of Punta Arenas. In a small group of up to 6 people, I will guide you through essential urban landmarks — from the neoclassical architecture of the Municipal Cemetery and the heritage of the Croatian Quarter to the Strait Coast, the historic quarter and the panorama of the Cerro de la Cruz — as I share with you my personal approach to the composition, framing and historical-pictorial reading of Patagonian light.
The tour includes a complimentary coffee break along with a personalized review of your images.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We will meet directly opposite the main entrance of the Municipal Cemetery, in the flower shop located across Bulnes Street. The guide will be there waiting.
The tour ends at the Mirador Cerro de la Cruz, an ideal panoramic point from where you will have a spectacular view of Punta Arenas and the Strait of Magellan to take your latest photographs. From here you can continue exploring the center on foot or take a shuttle.

Meeting point. We will explore its neoclassical architecture and emblematic cypress trees while practicing photo composition and framing techniques.

We will walk along the historic Avenida Colón until we reach La Galería cafe, where we will enjoy a complimentary coffee break, review the images captured so far and receive personalized photo feedback.

Tour of Calle Bories, shopping artery of the center, capturing the urban life, movement and architecture of the environment.

6Plaza Munoz Gamero
Photography of neoclassical architecture, the monument to Hernando de Magallanes and the majestic trees of the central square.

7Mirador Cerro De La Cruz
Final point of the tour. Panoramic capture of the colorful roofs of Punta Arenas, the Strait of Magellan and Tierra del Fuego Island.
