What to expect
Depart Wanaka Marina and cruise across Lake Wānaka, with guide commentary on the region's history, flora and fauna.
Pass several of the lake's islands, taking in Southern Alps mountain views and picturesque, untouched shorelines en route to the day's fishing grounds.
Fish drop-offs, rocky shorelines and deep contours for Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and Quinnat Salmon — trolling, spinning, or adjusting location and technique to where the fish are biting.
Conditions permitting, we may stop at a remote beach or bay for shore-based spin casting, and a swim on warm days.
Return to Wanaka Marina.
