Join us to discover Mixquic, one of the seven indigenous towns of Tláhuac, world-famous for keeping the essence of Day of the Dead intact.
On this evening tour, we will travel from the city center to witness the most iconic festival of the Valley of Mexico.
Mixquic will welcome us with its streets full of mysticism to immerse ourselves in the syncretism of a party to life, where we remember those who are no longer here, but who somehow still exist.
We will visit monumental offerings both in the Tláhuac mayor's office and in the houses of the same town.
We will tour the church and the main pantheon, walking among illuminated graves and the scent of marigold flowers.
We will enjoy the local folklore, trying the traditional pan de muerto and the local gastronomy.
The transport will leave us a few steps walking from the heart of a town that gives face and identity to Mexico.

You will observe the assembly of monumental and life-size skulls. Modeled piece by piece with paper, glue, and deep devotion, these figures do not represent the fear of loss, but the absolute worship and respect for death. Each skull, from ancestral deities and guide xoloitzcuintles to everyday characters on a natural scale, tells a story of transition, memory, and reunion.
