Less than a 10 min walk heading Nth along the footpath from the center of town in Punakaki. If driving there is a reasonable sized car park at the trail start. its a 45min drive from either Westport or Greymouth along the stunning coast road.

During this trip we will be in stunning Paparoa National Park an intricate area with steep dramatic warped limestone rock formations giving it an other worldly feel. This is complemented with ancient un touched native forest and bush land rich in Biodiversity and unique native bird life. During our trip you can learn about this regions varied Maori and colonial history.
