They’re the LyonExplorer team, a small group of locals who truly love this city. Some of us were born here, others moved here after falling in love with Lyon (and yes, the food played a big part!).
What to Expect:
- In about 2h, they’ll take you through the most iconic and surprising parts of the city:
- Walk through the secret traboules of Vieux Lyon
- Stroll up to Croix-Rousse for great views and a cool artistic vibe
- Hear stories about Lyon’s silk weavers, Roman origins and legends
- Get your local tips for restaurants, wine bars, and hidden gems
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting point is in the middle of Place des Terreaux, Fountain Bartholdi at 10:30am. Look for the guide with a yellow T-shirt! Pay attention, sometimes the t-shirt is on the guide's backpack or on a wire hanger.
We will finish in the heart of the old town, by Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral, right in the historic center of the capital of Three Gauls. Around, you'll find many places to eat or discover local specialties.
