Then, you will head to Victory Park from where you will have the big picture of picturesque Yerevan. The park is high on the hill from where you will take the best pictures ever of the city. The Statue of Mother Armenia is in that very park which symbolizes peace and strength not only for the city but also for the whole country.
Start your evening at Victory Park, then make your way down through the Cascade Complex to capture stunning views of the Armenian sunset. In just 30 minutes, you’ll arrive at Geghard Monastery—one of the masterpieces of Armenian architecture. Nestled among towering cliffs, beside the Azat River, and near the Khosrov Forest State Reserve, this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a serene setting where history, nature, and spirituality meet. Its breathtaking beauty is sure to shine through in your photos.
Drive through the lively village of Garni, where history and nature reveal their secrets in monasteries, gardens, khachkars, and dramatic canyon views. Explore the iconic Garni Temple, a rare Hellenistic-style monument in Armenia, dedicated to Mihr, the god of the sun during the pagan era. Standing proudly on the edge of a cliff, the temple has survived centuries of disasters and still radiates timeless beauty. In Garni, visit a local house where you’ll take part in a traditional lavash-making presentation and enjoy a delicious homemade Armenian lunch. Continue down into the canyon to witness the breathtaking “Symphony of Stones.” These towering hexagonal basalt columns look like the work of an ancient artist and never fail to amaze visitors. Return to Yerevan and end your day with dinner at a local restaurant
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Today, head to the northern region of Tavush to immerse yourself in its lush green forests. Your first stop is Haghartsin Monastery—often called the “white pearl of the forest.” Once a vibrant center of education, culture, and spiritual life, it remains one of Armenia’s most treasured destinations.
Walk along the forest path that leads to Parz Lake and take in the fresh air and greenery around you. The calm surface of the lake reflects the trees like a mirror—that’s why it’s called Parz, meaning “clear.” Here you can simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, take a boat ride across the water, or add a bit of adventure with a zip-line over the lake. Surrounded by the beautiful forests of Dilijan, often called the “Armenian Switzerland,” this place is pure harmony with nature.
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Today, travel to Lake Sevan the largest freshwater lake in the Caucasus, famous for its deep blue waters. For one of the most beautiful views, walk up the hill on the peninsula, where the entire lake opens before you under the rising sun. Here you’ll also find Sevanavank Monastery, a must-see landmark with history and breathtaking scenery combined.
Continue along the shores of Lake Sevan until you reach a truly remarkable spot the Selim Caravanserai. Perched 2,410 meters above sea level on the southern side of the Vardenyats Mountain Pass, this historic stop on the Silk Road offers breathtaking views of the Armenian mountains. Standing here, with the vast landscape stretching out below, is an unforgettable experience.
Take a jeep tour up to Smbataberd Fortress and capture unforgettable views from its ancient walls. Later, continue to the spa town of Jermuk, where you’ll spend the night. The resort offers a wide range of spa services for those who wish to relax and unwind.
This morning, leave Jermuk and make your way to Tatev to experience the Wings of Tatev—the world’s longest cable car. Glide above winding roads, lush hills, and scattered historic buildings, soaking in the dramatic scenery as you approach the majestic Tatev Monastery. Surrounded by mountains, this iconic site has long been a vital center of learning and culture in Armenia, where generations of scholars contributed to the country’s heritage. After exploring Tatev, return to Jermuk for the evening.
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Today, head to Noravank Monastery, beautifully set amid striking red rock cliffs. Take in the scenery and capture memorable photos before visiting Areni Cave, where you’ll learn about the ancient history of winemaking and see some of the earliest wine-making artifacts. Of course, no visit would be complete without tasting the local wine enjoy two glasses in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and create moments to remember.
Visit Khor Virap and look at Mt Ararat. It is incredible. The shots will be more than perfect. In the evening you will be driven to a club to dance, drink something and enjoy the music there. (about 195 km)
