Meeting and pickup
Please meet us at Ozzie’s Beach Resort in Osu, Accra. On arrival, please ask for the Weave & Sew Crafts basket weaving workshop and our team will meet you there.
What to expect
Your experience begins with an introduction to traditional Ghanaian basket weaving and the natural materials used by local artisans. With step-by-step guidance from a skilled Ghanaian basket weaver, you’ll learn the techniques used to create your own small woven basket.
Choose from natural and colourful weaving materials and watch your basket gradually take shape. No previous experience is required - our workshops are beginner friendly and designed to give you plenty of individual guidance along the way.
Workshops are held at Ozzie’s Beach Resort in Osu, offering a relaxed beachside setting for your creative experience.

At the end of your workshop, you’ll take home the basket you created yourself - a unique handmade souvenir and a memorable connection to Ghanaian craft and culture.
