Welcome to Queenstown. Upon arrival at Queenstown Airport, your guide will meet you before the short scenic drive to Hawkridge Estate, your private countryside retreat. Along the way you'll begin to appreciate the unique landscape of the Wakatipu Basin, surrounded by the Remarkables Range, Coronet Peak and countless smaller mountain ranges that were sculpted by glaciers during the last Ice Age. Awaiting your arrival is a complimentary platter showcasing some of Central Otago's finest local produce, accompanied by regional wine and fresh baking. The private outdoor cedar hot tub is booked for you, overlooking uninterrupted mountain views.

Arrowtown Village
As evening approaches, we'll make the short drive to one of New Zealand's most charming historic towns. Established during the gold rush of 1862, Arrowtown remains one of New Zealand's best-preserved nineteenth-century settlements. Take your time wandering Buckingham Street, browsing independent boutiques, galleries and artisan stores, or enjoy a glass of Central Otago wine beside the Arrow River before dinner. Your guide is happy to recommend favourite local restaurants and can arrange reservations before your arrival. Arrowtown offers exceptional dining within its peaceful village setting. After dinner return to Hawkridge Estate.

Kawarau Gorge • Cromwell • Coronet Peak and Mt Dewar

Begin your day with a leisurely private breakfast at Hawkridge, taking in the peaceful surroundings before setting out with your personal guide. Travel through the spectacular Kawarau Gorge towards Central Otago, passing through historic Old Cromwell and along the shores of Lake Dunstan before continuing to Bannockburn. Discover two of the region’s celebrated wineries, enjoying private tastings and the exceptional character of Central Otago’s wines. Continue to Mora Winery or similar for an included set lunch, where the relaxed setting and refined cuisine provide a memorable midday experience.

Lake Hayes
Enjoy an early sunrise walk on the Lake Hayes, Twin River or Shotover River trails. Your guide can recommend a trail and provide transportation. Return to Hawkridge for breakfast and prepare for departure. Depending on your departure time, enjoy a final visit to Arrowtown, Ayrburn or a local winery for a relaxed lunch. The private spa is booked for you this morning.
