Expert Safety Briefing (15 mins): We’ll gather at the meeting point for a quick introduction to local scorpion species, behavior, and essential safety guidelines to ensure a fun, safe experience for everyone.
The UV Search Hike (~2 hours): Set out on an easy, leisurely night walk equipped with specialized UV flashlights. Watch as the darkness reveals scorpions glowing in brilliant neon green beneath the ultra-violet light.
Hands-On Identification & Photography: Grab a UV light and track down scorpions yourself! You'll learn how to identify different species on the spot and capture incredible, close-up photos safely.
Scenic Viewpoint Break (15–20 mins): Pause at a breathtaking overlook to rest, dive deeper into the local scorpion field guidebook, and learn the fascinating science behind UV light and why these creatures glow.
