Complimentary hotel pickup is available from accommodations within Padang City center. Pickup is scheduled between 06:00 AM and 06:30 AM. Please wait in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
Travelers staying outside the pickup area should meet the team at Muaro Port (Pelabuhan Muaro Padang) by 06:30 AM.

1Pelabuhan Muaro
Board the morning local ferry from Muaro Port Padang to South Siberut. The journey takes around five hours, including a short transit at Sikabaluan.

2Muntei
Arrive in Muntei Village, take a short break, and prepare your belongings for the journey into the rainforest. Repack essential items into waterproof bags before continuing into the jungle.

3Mentawai Islands
Travel by wooden canoe along a jungle river before continuing on foot through the rainforest. Arrive at a traditional Mentawai Uma, meet your host family and Sikerei, settle in, and enjoy dinner together.

Spend the day living with a Mentawai family in their traditional Uma. Join daily activities with the family and Sikerei while learning about Mentawai traditions, traditional knowledge, local medicine, and the community's connection with the forest.
