You may go to Hemu viewing platform for beautiful sunrise, usually between 7:00-8:00. Sunrise time varies by season. We depart for Beitun at noon. We will take Ahe Highway if open; detours will be arranged if the road is closed.

Tianshan Tianchi Lake
We pass Gurbantünggüt Desert on the way. You may stop at Kelameili Service Area to visit the desert park, then head to Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area and return to Urumqi for check-in.

Today's itinerary focuses on historical relics. Except for Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum, we stay about 1 hour at each site. The museum is closed on Mondays. Please take note when your trip falls on Monday.
